Management
|
| Sanlam Investment Management |
| SIM is one of South Africa's largest investment management companies. Not many businesses can boast about having being around for almost a century yet adapting quickly to changing investors'needs - and often being first to market. For them, there is no finishing line in investing. So it is not about giving investors one month, one year or even three years'good performance, but generating considerable wealth over their lifetimes. SIM is authorised under the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act, 2002 (act 37 of 2002) as a financial services provider, FSP number 579. |

Focus and Objective
|
The Fund will aim to replicate the performance of the European equity markets excluding the UK by tracking the Euro currency equivalent of the Index (Bloomberg code: NDDUE15X) with income reinvested. The Index captures large and mid cap representation across 15 developed markets (DM) countries in Europe. The Fund may track the performance of the Index directly through the purchase of a representative basket of shares and stock included in the Index or indirectly through investment in exchange traded funds (ETF) and collective investment schemes (CIS).
The Fund operates an index tracking strategy whereby it seeks to replicate the performance of the Index through investment directly in assets that are Index constituents (i.e. a physical replication model). The Fund does not seek to fully replicate the Index but instead seeks to match the Fund's investments with Index constituents on an optimisation basis. Accordingly, investment in the Fund should not be considered to provide a direct exposure to the Index.
Optimisation aims to match the risk and return characteristics of the Fund to the Index through holding Index constituents, although not necessarily holding all of the constituents and not necessarily with the same weighting.
The Company does not declare a dividend and therefore your shares do not pay you income. You can sell your shares any day (except Saturday or Sunday) that banks are open in Dublin.
Recommendation: The Fund is suitable for investors with a time horizon of 5 years.
