Focus and Objective
|
The investment objective of the fund is to seek capital appreciation and current income, consistent with prudent investment management, by investing principally in equity and corporate debt securities and, to a lesser extent, government securities issued by entities throughout the world. The investment manager anticipates that the majority of the fund's portfolio will normally be invested in equity or equity-linked securities, including debt or preferred stock convertible or exchangeable into equity securities, selected primarily on the basis of their capital growth potential. The fund will seek income principally by investing in fixed or floating rate securities and debt obligations of government, government-related and corporate issuers in countries around the world. The fund may purchase US dollar and non-US dollar denominated equities, fixed income securities and debt obligations.
